Welcome to Armand Jany

You will find below answers to main questions related to Armand Jany online shop. You can write at any time to Armand Jany through our “Contact” page for questions on products, online shopping or any other questions on our site and services. We will reply within 24 working hours from Monday to Friday (Bank holiday excluded).

Should you see a design that you are interested in has an INQUIRE button on it, the item has sold out. However, we can make any piece to order so please get in touch with us by clicking the INQUIRE button for a standard order or a custom colour combination and we will do our best to make it happen for you. This however depends on specific material availability in the atelier. We will also provide timing for delivery.
Our designs are limited edition runs for each one of them and for this reason we have a waiting list after the initial production run.
Our current waiting list is between 2 to 3 weeks long. We will give you an estimated waiting period after your inquiry.


We hope that this will never happen but for the items purchased on our website you have a time limit of 15 days after receiving your parcel, to return a product that you do not want to keep.
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
1. The items to be returned must be unused, in original condition and packaging.
2. Keep in mind that your bag must have the non-removable tag attached to the handle in order to process the exchange or return.
3. The cost of returning the item is at your expense, only the purchase price will be refunded.
4. Items must be shipped to Armand Jany Atelier using a courier service with a tracking number to help track shipments.
5. If the return is due to an error on our part, the cost of redelivery will of course be repaid in full on proof of purchase. Armand Jany will pay for sending back the wrong items and will send the correct items to you.
5. The following items can not be returned or exchanged because of their nature, unless they arrive damaged or defective.

All Armand Jany designs are checked before being shipped to ensure the quality of the craftsmanship of each design. We therefore can not accept returns for damaged goods unless the packaging was somehow damaged. In this case, the client should not accept the package from the agent so that it can be returned to Arman Jany. We will not process a refund if we are not advised in this case.


If the above conditions are met.
To return an item, send us an email armandjany@gmail.com with the following information:
1. Your name, order number, phone number, and email.
2. The item you wish to return.
3. The reason for the return.
Once you receive our confirmation about the return or exchange of the product, just follow these 3 steps:
1. Place the entire article in its original packaging - only articles returned in their original condition will be accepted and reimbursed- The item MUST have the non-removable tag attached to the handle.
2. Print the document sent to you via email and attach it to your parcel.
3. Return the parcel to the address that you will find in our email instructions. Please remember that the items must be shipped by a courier service with a tracking number to help track the shipment.

In case a refund applies, re-imbursment for the orders paid via PayPal will be processed within 7 business days of the Return Acceptance Confirmation email. The time it takes to restore the credit back to your account depends on the PayPal issuer.
For orders paid via money transfer to our bank account, these will be reimbursed to you within 7 business days of the Return Acceptance Confirmation email. The time it takes to restore the credit back to your account depends on the bank issuer.


Currently we only accept PayPal and money transfer methods as a payment. We do not accept checks or money orders.
Please remember that when you do a money transfer via PayPal or via bank account the transfer costs are not included in the price.


Unfortunately at this time we are only able to accept one form of payment, per order.


We currently ship worldwide. The list of countries available for shipping will be proposed after validation of your purchase. If your country is not on the delivery list feel free to send us an inquiry via "Contact".
Items shipped outside of South Africa may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or charges which are not included in the total cost of your order, nor will they be covered or reimbursed by Armand Jany.


Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to post office boxes, an army post office, or fleet post office (APO/FPO) addresses.


The parcel is delivered directly to you and if you are not at home at that time, a non-delivery notice will be deposited in your mailbox. This notice indicates the time and the day of the attempted delivery, as well as the post office where you can pick up the parcel. You will then need to go to the post office indicated with the non-delivery notice left by the postman with a proof of identity to pick up the parcel. You then have a time limit of 14 days, after which the parcel will be returned to us.


For security reasons, all Armand Jany online orders require adult signature upon delivery.


In order to preserve the beauty of your Armand Jany leather bags and accessories, we suggest you to:
- Protect your bag from any contact with water, chemicals or substances such as solvents, oils, cosmetics, make-up or perfumes which can damage leather.
-Avoid contact with water, oils, perfumes and cosmetics.
-Avoid prolonged and direct exposure to sources of sunlight and direct heat to help preserve the radiance of its colour. If your product gets wet, remove any excess moisture by dabbing lightly with a soft dry cloth and dry at room temperature. If the metal hardware on your product becomes discoloured, use a dry jewellery cleaning cloth to remove any tarnishing.
- Avoid waterproofing treatment.
- To preserve the beauty of its shape, we recommend that you do not overfill your bag.
- When you are not using your bag, please fill it with tissue paper or bubble padded sheets and store it in a cool dry place within the Armand Jany dust bag which accompanied it
- Finally, in order to avoid any colour transfer onto your bag, we suggest you avoid wearing dark clothes with a light coloured bag.
